Bundith Phunsombatlert will use Harpo support to develop his project, T|r|a|n|s|t|r|a|c|k, a sound installation that combines the metaphorical meanings and functions of trains and sound tracks as well as the concept of transformative space in telling the stories of refugees in the United States.
This project was funded as part of the foundation’s 2011 funding cycle, which explores the interchange and dialogue between the non-locality of the digital world and the existential physicality of our everyday environment.
