We are so excited to welcome to this year’s Studio Institute intern, Janira Gayle! As the Harpo Foundation’s Art Collection Management Intern, Janira will be supporting the art and creative legacy of Harpo Foundation Founder, Ed Levine.

Janira is a graduating senior at Columbia University, studying visual arts and computer science. Before joining Harpo, she worked as a research assistant at the Center on Poverty Tracker and mentored high school seniors through the Bloomberg Arts Internship. She is also a mixed media artist working with fabric, crocheted canvas, and oil paint.

We look forward to further developing of the creative legacy of our founder, Ed Levine with the addition of Janira’s valuable skills and insights!
